During the FIG Commission 7th Annual Meeting 2010, Mr. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu, anivs, rsv, from the Federal University of Technology in Minna Nigeria and Consultant to NIGIS (Niger State Geographic Information System) gave a presentation about: NIGERIA- PROGRESS REPORT&PLANS FOR THE FUTURE.
The meeting was held in the Thermal Spa Hotel, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic on September 6-10, 2010 and its main theme was International Open Symposium on “Digital Cadastral Map”.
NIGIS is being recognized as an outstanding example of digital cadastre implementation in public sectors offering better service to citizen while increasing and optimizing the authority income and revenue.
